About Mende Market Woman LLC
Mende Market Woman LLC (MMW) was founded as a response to the call for lasting change, born shortly after the murder of George Floyd. With over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate planning, renovation, and community advocacy, I established MMW as a vehicle to address systemic housing instability and inequity—issues I experienced firsthand growing up. My commitment to transforming communities is grounded in the belief that unstable housing is not a permanent condition, but a problem we can solve with dedication, resources, and bold action.

As CEO, I lead MMW with a mission to restore and revitalize blighted spaces, creating opportunities for historically neglected communities to build legacy wealth and long-term security. Our customers include seniors, entrepreneurs, students, and professionals who seek efficient, culturally rich, and eco-conscious living environments. Through equitable homeownership opportunities, financial education, and community-focused development, MMW drives meaningful change while integrating sustainable construction practices that prioritize the health of residents and the planet.

Our work is more than building homes—we are building networks, financial empowerment, and healthier communities. MMW is proud to collaborate with organizations like the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC), the African American Chamber of Commerce New Jersey (AACCNJ), and the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) to expand our impact and advance economic equity through real estate development.
